Alpha Juanita (AJ) MacLain, 75, of Indianapolis, passed on July 5, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Samuel (Buck); daughter, Rebecca (Becky), and a large extended family. AJ was an avid bowler and loved fishing. Her favorite hobby was gardening. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 2999. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 12 at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W Moore Chapel. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society or Community Hospice.

Mike & I send our deepest sympathies to you. I (Lisa) will miss “AJ’s” fudge and cookies around Christmas time when she did her baking. If you never had “AJ’s” fudge/cookies you missed a treat !!! I’m lucky I got to meet your mom and know her. You know I’m a phone call away, no matter what time of day/night.
